Faxmail offers clients who do not have easy access to a fax machine an opportunity to send and receive a fax at any participating post office in South Africa. Faxmail offers instant faxing facilities at more than 300 participating post offices nationwide. Service fees are charged as follows:
Delivery Options Counter delivery(from one participating post office to another post office)
The Faxmail message is kept at the receiving post office, the addressee can collect the fax free of charge for counter collection. Important: It is the responsibility of the sender to notify the recipient of this.The recipient must collect the fax at the specified counter.
Delivery by ordinary mail (on payment of additional ordinary mail postage)
The Faxmail message is delivered by ordinary mail. (An official Post Office envelope must be used.) Deliver according to current ordinary mail standards. Delivery by Fastmail (on payment of additional Fastmail rate)
The Faxmail is delivered by Fastmail immediately on receipt. (An official Post Office envelope must be used.) Delivery according to current Fastmail delivery standards.
Counter delivery (from private fax to a participating post office)
The Faxmail message is kept at the receiving post office where the addressee may collect it. Important: It is the responsibility of the sender to notify the recipient of this.The recipient must collect the fax at the specified post office counter. |
